"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."
Jesus Directs - We Obey
Bowman Ministries is not a "self guided/directed" ministry. We do as the Lord Jesus directs. He is the Head of the Church! He is our Great Shepherd! He is THE KING OF KINGS! Although Bowman Ministries' primary focus is to reach the Remote People Groups with the Word of God, Jesus has also called us to serve the orphan, the widow, the downtrodden, the hurting, and the broken. It is a privilege to share the many ways that Jesus has used Bowman Ministries and the ways that He continues to do so. Please understand, there are more miraculous testimonies of God's intervention, provision, and care than what can be shared on this site. All the Glory belongs to Jesus. He has made a way WHERE THERE WAS NO WAY ever time. We have no way to accomplish any of these things on our own; it's only Jesus. He is the WAY-MAKER!
OUR STORY
A Nation In Need - Malawi, Africa
There are places in the world dependent on each year's planting. Catastrophic weather, wither drought or extreme rain, and cause them to lose their crops. Such was the case in Malawi, Africa. The crops had failed and the nation was starving. Jesus heard their cries for help and called one little church in Northwestern Montana to help. Food staples, such as maze were purchased to help carry the people through this famine. Do you believe that Jesus hears your cry??? I can tell you, He does!
Jesus Connects Montana To Malawi
It would take some time to describe the amazing way that the Lord Jesus brought the people of Malawi to my desk. I had no idea of where Malawi rested among the nations of Africa, but the distinct tough of the Holy Spirit led me to reach out to help these brothers and sisters in Christ. Over the years we have been blessed to send food and relief aid funding, as well as many, many Bibles. Our work to assist the people continues. In 2023 they were devastated by Cyclone Freddy. They are needing homes and church houses rebuilt from scratch. More information will be provided under our "Future Projects" tab.
Connecting With Pastor Emmanuel Masamba - A Man With A Servant's Heart
Pastor Emmanuel serves Jesus through Church of God Ministries in Malawi, Africa. Tending to over 100 church fellowships, he is a very busy Shepherd, as well as being a passionate preacher of the Word of God. Over the years we have grown a wonderful friendship as brothers in Christ. God has asked the Church in Montana to provide food and relief funds to the Church in Malawi, as well as calling us to provide Bibles; which they needed desperately. Pastor Emmanuel has been so faithful to carry out every effort for the good of the people.
We look forward to many more works which the Lord Jesus will do through our relationship. The nation of Malawi is in desperate need of help and Pastor Emmanuel is at the forefront, working with many groups from around the world to improve the condition of his nation and it's people.
The leaders of the Church in Malawi were praying and fasting for three months, pleading with God to send them Bibles. Many pastors did not have Bibles!
Have you ever hungered and thirsted for the Word of God? If the Word were taken from you, would you fast and pray for it's return? When Jesus told us to provide the Malawi Church with Bibles, we had no idea that they were praying and fasting for them, but Jesus did. I hadn't spoken with Pastor Emmanuel for some time, but when I called and shared what Jesus has directed us to do, there were shouts of Joy and Singing! My friends, there are People Groups who are starving for the Word of God. If the Lord shall direct us to them, shall we not provide them with The Bread of Life as importantly as food?
Jesus Provides Immediate Relief to Orphans
In a matter of moments, hundreds of children lost their entire family. Many children were scooped up from the flood waters, not knowing that they were now instant orphans. Taken to schools which were located on high ground, the children were without food, clothing, and most of all family. Pastor Emmanuel shared the plight of these children through many tears. The Holy Spirit in me was so strong as he shared their great need. We prayed for help, weeping together. Jesus is such a good Father. After our call I went to PayPal to check the Bowman Ministries account. THAT VERY MORNING, just minutes before, an anonymous donation of $3,743 dollars had been made. Glory to God! I called Pastor Emmanuel and let him know that help was on the way.
Psa 68:4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts, Whose name is the LORD, and exult before Him.
Psa 68:5 A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy habitation.

Jesus Directs Every Orphan To Receive His Word - The Message of Faith, Hope, & LOVE!
To give a young orphaned child a Bible is an extravagant gift for the people of Malawi. Many Christians who faithfully attend Churches don't have a Bible. Some Churches share one Bible. Jesus was specific. GIVE THEM MY WORD!
Flour! Maze! Oil! and... BIBLES!!!
When Pastor Emmanuel made the announcement he had no idea that the youth would clap in thanksgiving for food, but they CHEERED when told they would receive Bibles. It was a surprising response. What did these children know about the Bible that would cause them to be so excited??
Please pray for the orphans of Cyclone Freddy, as well as the nation of Malawi as a whole. The nation has not recovered. Bowman Ministries is seeking God's direction in providing further help and assistance. Pray that the Lord Jesus will continue to open doors and provide opportunity to serve.

International humanitarian aid isn't all that we have been involved in. Serving our fellow Montanans has been a focus for two decades. Providing Emergency Shelter and food for Wildfire Evacuees, replacing entire households after fire, feeding the hungry, caring for children who are left to roam the street, counseling marriages to prevent divorce, talking people down from suicide, intervening to stop murder, teaching forgiveness, mentoring LOVE. Humanity is in need of Jesus. We aim that they shall have HIM!
